Qualifications and experience

Client management |

Software application release management/change management |

Software packaging for automated deployment technologies |

Ability and willingness to work in a dynamic fast paced work
environment with possibility of some travel |

5+ years working with InstallShield and/or Wise Package Studio,
building .MSI packages and installs |
|
InstallShield installscript and WISE script or competitive
tools |
|
Building upgrade/repair installers |
|
Writing custom actions and custom install dialogs |
|
Object Oriented development |
|
Software development including Visual Studio, .NET, C#, C++
a plus and VBScript |
|
Technical training |
|
Proven design, building, and deployment of complex and widely
used installation solutions in multi-user environments |
|
Packaging for broadly deployed consumer/commercial applications
a plus |
|
Working with end-users and developers to implement complex
business and technology solutions |
Responsibilities
|
Participate in technical scoping discussions with
customers to identify system complexity and estimate implementation
costs and schedules |
|
Conduct onsite and remote technology implementations and ensure
customer satisfaction |
|
Document and define best practices based on technologies and
implementations |
|
Complete appropriate technical documentation to provide clients
with self-sufficient troubleshooting tools |
|
Draft functional and technical specification documentation |
|
Develop solutions based on design documentation |
|
Develop integration to other applications |
|
Draft and execute test plans |
|
Deploy solutions to production environments and provide post
deployment support
|
Education and certifications
|
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent career/experience |
|
Industry certifications in any of the product lines we support |
|
